Our Story
After my wife left her blow drier and curling
iron out on the counter, I thought that there should be a
better place to store these items other than the deep drawer
in the vanity. I moved the blow drier from the right side of
the sink to the left front part of the sink. When I sat the
blow drier down, I noticed that the shape of the blow drier
was about the same shape as that corner of the cabinet.
After thinking about another product on the market that
store items behind the false front of the vanity, I crawled
under the sink to see if there was the room to store the
drier there. After determining that there was plenty
of room, I got out a measuring tape and measured the opening
behind the false drawer front. When I saw that the opening
was over 4 inches high and the blow drier was less than
that, the idea was born. My first reaction was to try and
find the item on the market to purchase.
After months of searching and having no luck, I paid to
have patent search done thinking that such a simple and
ideal idea must have been thought of before. After the
patent search came back that there was nothing out there
like it, I went through the process of filling a patent.
I also spent a lot of time and money researching and
refining the idea. I worked on the ideal shape, weight,
plastic type, and even how I could go about manufacturing
the trays and tubes.
They say that necessity is the mother of all
inventions. It turned out to be true in this case
as well.
